LEARN AND GROW
Growing Knowledge From the Ground Up
Step into a living classroom on one of the Redlands’ last working market garden farms. Once known as “Brisbane’s Salad Bowl,” this region has deep roots in fruit and vegetable farming, and Wellington Point Farm proudly continues this legacy today.

In partnership with Wellington Point Farm, we offer immersive, curriculum-aligned tours that bring the paddock-to-plate journey to life. Students and educational groups experience the story of food through engaging, real-world insights into regenerative farming, seasonal produce and how fresh food moves from the farm to the community.

Each visit is thoughtfully tailored to suit different age groups and learning outcomes, providing meaningful insight into sustainability, food systems and the role farms play in feeding our communities.

Tour Overview
To ensure an engaging and manageable experience, participants will rotate through two key sessions during their visit.
Paddock & Market Hall Session
(est. 20-30 minutes)
This combined session introduces students to the farm environment and the journey of produce from paddock to retail. Participants will explore the paddocks, learn about seasonal crops and farming practices, and gain insight into how fresh produce moves beyond the farm and into the community.
Farmhouse Talk
(est. 20-30 minutes)
This session introduces the connection between fresh produce and hospitality, sharing how ingredients grown on the farm contribute to the meals enjoyed by guests at The Farmhouse.
Group size, minimum & maximum
Students will be divided into two groups, with a maximum of 30 participants per group, rotating between the sessions.

We encourage groups of 25 - 60 participants however we can accommodate up to 90 participants. If total participant numbers exceed 60, a third rotation will be introduced featuring lawn games and optional colouring/activity sheets. Group facilitators are required to supervise and lead this rotation..
