ABOUT
The Wellington Point Farm is one of the very few remaining operational market garden farms in Redland City. Since the 1800’s until the late 1900’s, fruit and vegetable growing was the dominant activity in the Redlands which was widely recognised and celebrated as “Brisbane’s Salad Bowl”.
Together with Wellington Point Farm, we take great joy in offering an interactive learning experience for students and the community. Our farm tours are managed by Wellington Point Farmhouse and led by Farmer Adrian who is dedicated to showcasing real, regenerative paddock-to-plate farming.
Every visit to Wellington Point Farm is a unique journey filled with educational insights and hands-on experiences that will leave a lasting impression on students, teachers and visitors alike!
We are happy to design each tour topic with the students abilities, the curriculum and the teachers desired learning outcomes in mind,
